Robert Kennedy Jr.’s disregard for the principles of science and democracy renders him exceedingly unfit to lead HHS. Read below for instructions on how to send a letter to your senators to oppose the nomination of Robert Kennedy Jr. to the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Below, we share the entire powerful Samoa sequence from Academy-Award nominated documentary filmmaker Scott Hamilton Kennedy’s latest film, SHOT IN THE ARM, which is now streaming on pbs.org. The Samoa sequence takes place between 2018 and 2019, where Robert Kennedy Jr. plays a significant role in how this small island responded to a vaccine mistake and devastating measles outbreak. Please SHARE far and wide and get more people asking RFK Jr: What happened in Samoa?
Hello SENATOR NAME HERE,
My name is YOUR NAME, I live in CITY and I am one of your constituents. I’m writing to inform you how sequences in the film SHOT IN THE ARM (by Academy-Award Nominated Documentarian Scott Hamilton Kennedy and Executive Produced by Neil deGrasse Tyson), could help you see why Robert Kennedy Jr. is not worthy of leading HHS.
I ask you to watch the 6-minute sequence from the film on RFK Jr.’s role in Samoa’s devastating measles outbreak which is very clear and damning. RFK Jr.’s anti-vaxx sentiments played a significant role in Samoa’s tragic measles outbreak of 2019, where there were 5,000 cases of measles and 83 deaths, mostly amongst children.
Through his actions, RFK Jr. has shown that he does not respect nor follow the core tenets of science.
I believe these actions make RFK Jr. completely unfit to lead HHS.
